چکیده
Have you ever wondered what God’s inner emotional life might be like? Within Christian thought, there are conflicting answers to this question. The majority of theologians throughout history have said that God cannot moved by creatures feel anything. does not literally empathy, mercy, or compassion. God is nowhere, God is now here: attachment activation, security of attachment, and God's perceived closeness among 5-7-year-old children from religious and non-religious homes.
God's perceived closeness (GC) is greater when the attachment system is activated. This conclusion is based primarily on adult studies, but some findings suggest its validity also in childhood. Adult studies have shown GC to vary in relation to security of attachment, but child studies have been few and methodologically limited. In this study, we tested differences between securely and insecure...

متن کاملGod Knows (But does God Believe?)
The standard view in epistemology is that propositional knowledge entails belief. Positive arguments are seldom given for this entailment thesis, however; instead, its truth is typically assumed. Against the entailment thesis, Myers-Schulz and Schwitzgebel (forthcoming) report that a non trivial percentage of people think that there can be propositional knowledge without belief. In this paper, ...
متن کاملAveraging with disturbances and closeness of solutions
We establish that, under appropriate conditions, the solutions of a time-varying system with disturbances converge uniformly on compact time intervals to the solutions of the system’s average as the rate of change of time increases to infinity. The notions of “average” used for systems with disturbances are the “strong” and “weak” averages introduced in [5].
متن کاملTesting Closeness With Unequal Sized Samples
We consider the problem of testing whether two unequal-sized samples were drawn from identical distributions, versus distributions that differ significantly. Specifically, given a target error parameter ε > 0, m1 independent draws from an unknown distribution p with discrete support, and m2 draws from an unknown distribution q of discrete support, we describe a test for distinguishing the case ...
